SGT. EVERSMANN BY DAM

The book Black hawk down was written by Mark Bowden and was made to a motion picture in 2001.
The film was produced and directed by Ridley Scott. It tells the story of The Battle in Mogadishu. The main focus of the film are the men of the Delta force and rangers who was task to capture the warlord's lieutenants. It was supposed to be a quick snatch and grab mission that went bad and resulted in several casualties.

During this bloody event two black hawk choppers were shot down. In response two delta force sniper volunteered to secure a downed chopper. Their heroic attempt to provide support and perimeter defense for a downed Black hawk helicopter made them heroes and  was awarded the medal of honor but sadly it was given posthumously.

Dam is a new name in the 1/6th military world, but seeing this figure and its detail, i think this company has a lot of potential. This is the first figure they released. Staff Sargent Eversmann he was a Ranger and also leader of chalk 4.



Nice sturdy box with back ground art work as you open it.

He wears a three color pattern desert BDU.

He wears a woodland pattern Ranger body armour and Alta knee pads



He carried a M16a2 and several grenades.



He also had a radio, a PASGT helmet covered in the older six color desert pattern camo,
rappeling gloves (tan), a ranger green gloves and a strobe.
In the last part of the moving he used the strobe to mark enemy position.



Also included were two water canteen and pouch.
The canteen's cap can be remove.



Ammo pouch to hold his M16 mags.
Check out the detail on the working ALICE clips.
This clips attach the pouches to the belt.

Looking at the excellent work done in this figure I'm really looking forward to their next release.
Teaser of the second figure was out and he is also a member of chalk 4. I would really like for DAM to release more figures from the Black hawk down movie.

KAKASHI BY TOYNAMI

Finally got Kakashi to complete series one of Naruto Shippuden four inch toy line by Toynami.

Series one includes Naruto, Itachi and Kakashi. Toynami's four inch Naruto Shippuden figures have 25 points of articulation making different poses easier and they also have inter changeable hands except for Kakashi having an extra head. Similar items can be found on all three figures such as a pair of hands holding a kunai and a pair that looks like the figure is doing a jutsu and the clear circular base are all identical for all three of them.

Hatake Kakashi is an easy going person always late for his classes and always reading erotic books. But under his easy going personality is a highly skilled ninja. Kakashi graduated from ninja school at a young age and started getting missions ahead of his age group. Young Kakashi was under the tutelage of the late Minato the Fourth Hokage. Kakashi is a jonin and an ex-anbu.

Then came team seven. Kakashi became the sensei in charge of team seven. Under his supervision were three kids Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. As the Naruto Shippuden series started Kakashi now fights along side his former students Naruto and Sakura againt the nasty Akatsuki. And as for his other student Sasuke, he joined the Akatsuki. Follow Kakashi and his bunch of ninjas as they fight the enemies of Konoha Village and discover more hidden secrets about their skills and past. Now on to the figure.

He uses his Sharingan to see through enemy jutsu and most of the time copy it.
Thus most of his enemy called him "Copy ninja Kakashi"



While posesing the Sharingan and having a thousand Ninjutsu.
Kakashi is also a well rounded Taijutsu fighter.

RESIDENT EVIL AFTERLIFE ALICE BY HOT TOYS

The Resident Evil series is an action-horror-survival game first released in the Sony PlayStation console. It was such a success that the game had several sequels, Resident Evil 5 being the most recent. Other console such as the Nintendo Wii also released several Resident Evil related titles.

After the Resident Evil games, came the Resident Evil Movies. The movie was a little bit off from its game counter part, but still proved to be a hit among its fans. One major difference of the movie from the game is the introduction of the character Alice. So whats so special about her? Nothing much except that she adopted to the T-virus. This means that she can take advantage of the positive effects of the virus giving her some boost in strength and speed but she can skip the part of being a zombie. She also had psychic abilities.

Instead of giving us another head sculpt with a different hair style,
Hot toys provided us with an alternate HAIR sculpt much like the Thor figure.
Good job on that Hot Toys!



Alice came with a standard HT stand with logo and name plate.
An extra coat was also added, Alice wore the coat while flying the red plane.



The costume was nicely done.

Alice came loaded with guns and knives.
First of are her twin revolvers.






All her guns came in pairs.
MP5 sub machine gun.



And last among her guns is her double barrel break-open type shotguns.



Very detailed shotgun it can be opened and came with shells.

In the movie she used coins as her ammunition.



Alice used this knives to chop of zombie heads.



In the opening of the movie Alice attacked Umbrella Corp. Japanese HQ using this impressive sword.



The only non-lethal weapon she had was her night stick.
But then again with her strength and skill, she can dish out some lethal blows even with just a stick.

I highly recommend this figure to all Resident Evil fans.
Even to military figure enthusiasts because of the cool weapons of the kit.

NARUTO BY TOYNAMI

Naruto Uzumaki is the main character in the hit anime Naruto and its sequel Naruto Shippuden. The figure I'm about to review is Naruto from Naruto Shippuden, this is a older and more mature side of Naruto. In this sequel Naruto returns to his village after under going extensive training with his master. Still hunted by his promise to bring Sasuke back. Naruto strives to look for him and convince him to return to the village. But new and more powerful enemies are plotting against our hero so lets follow his adventures and see if Naruto can indeed get to his goal of bringing back his friend and become the Hokage.



Toynami released this four inch Naruto figure as part of series one.
Series one includes Naruto, Itachi and Kakashi.



Head sculpt nicely done.
And the paint application is quite good for this scale.



Naruto came with a clear circular stand, one pair of hands holding a kunai and one pair posing like a jutsu.
The figure is also well articulated. His joints remind me of revoltech joints.

SPIDERMAN 3 BY HOT TOYS

Here is another amazing 1/6th scale figure from Hot Toys, base on the movie Spiderman.
Spiderman was played by actor Tobey Maguire. The movies tell the story of Peter Parker an ordinary teen who was bitten by a mutated spider. He then possessed incredible strength, sharp senses and other ability much like a spider, including the web. On the later part of the movies, Peter's struggle in his personal life were also tackled. He is Spiderman but inside he is also Peter who's having a hard time coping up with his life.

The character was created by the legendary Stan Lee in the 1960's. And is still in publication to date under Marvel Comics.

The suit was made of cloth but the web and logo is some kind of rubber.

Too bad my figure had a small hole in the back of the head (seen above).
So inspect your figure before you leave the shop.



He came with two base.
A regular Hot Toy figure base with name and the cool diorama base.
(sorry for the fuzzy photo)



Aside from the relax palm. He came with four pairs of inter changeable hand.
The web shooting pose, a crawling pose, one for gripping the web and a close fist.



He came with three kinds of web, here is the first one.

Here is another form of the web, this item the end opens up.
The open web in the end is quite heavy and the thin web can't hold it straight.









This is definitely the best and most accurate figure of Spiderman in 1/6th scale for me.
I just hope that the rubber on the costume won't melt or have some sort of problem in the future.
