Simon “GHOST” Riley is a fictional character that appeared in the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He was a lieutenant in the 22nd SAS. Ghost was also a member of Task Force 141 under the command of Capt. Mac Tavish [link]. He first appeared in the Favela mission in Rio. He also took part in saving Capt. Price [link] also known as prisoner 627 from a Russian gulag. In his last mission, he was to raid a safe house and capture the terrorist Makarov. But Makarov was not in the safe house fortunately the safe house had several useful Intel. After a brutal fire fight they final got the Intel and headed for the LZ to be extracted. The extraction team was headed by General Shepherd himself and as Ghost gave the Intel to Shepherd he was betrayed by the general and was shot point blank. Ghost was last seen being burned by Shepherd’s men.
