U.S. MARINES IN AFGHANISTAN BY SOLDIER STORY

Here is another figure from Soldier Story. He is a typical USMC grunt loaded with his basic needs. But don't get me wrong although his load is simple they are very realistic and the detail is nicely done especially on his rifle. So let's check it out.

Here is the head sculpt, resembling actor Bradley Cooper.

The boots and knee pads look great. He also has a drop down M4 mag holster


Check out the amazing detail for his holster even the bolts can be removed.
M9A1 pistol with light


 The best piece of the set is his M16A4 rifle.
 It can be stripped down and the charging handle works.
It also came with ACOG scope, doctor red dot and filter, AN/PEQ-16 MIPIM, grip, weapon light, and combat knife/ bayonet.

This side shows the IFAK pouch, red and yellow smoke grenades, combat knife, personal molle pouch witch stores his PVS 14 NVG, his side arm in its holster, and a drop down M4 mag.


At the back side he carries a hydration pack with tube and a combat trauma bag


Lightweight helmet with Marpat cover, his PVS14 NVG, NVG mount, googles, M frame 2.0 glasses and a Trijicon cloth.

US ARMY FCS ACU VERSION BY SOLDIER STORY

Here is Soldier Story's Future Combat Systems (FCS) in ACU pattern. This figure is similar to the FCS MultiCam version except for his weapons and some other minor stuff.

His belt came with suspenders.

Like the MultiCam version he uses Crye precision body armour with four M4 mag pouches, smoke grenades, radio with pouch and hydration system.

The main difference between the MultiCam version and ACU version are their weapons.
For the side arm the MultiCam version had a M9 while here we get a cool M1911 pistol.
And for the primary weapon they both use the HK416 but the MultiCam version had 14.5 inch barrel while we get a HK416 in 10.4 inch barrel, making it compact and suitable for close quarter combat.
His Hk416 also include 2 types of magazine. Four 30 round steel magazine and four 20 round aluminum alloy magazine.




He had a cool looking Batman patch. A little weird for a military figure but it looks nice


The box set came with a tan Mich2002 helmet, its color was kind of different from the ACU uniform so I swapped it for a darker tone.

US ARMY FUTURE COMBAT SYSTEMS BY SOLDIER STORY

The Future Combat System (FCS) is a modernization project to upgrade the current vehicle and soldier of the United States armed forces. Lets check out this figure of a FCS testing team from Soldier Story.

MultiCam is a single camouflage pattern designed to help the wearer hide in varied environments, seasons, elevations, and light conditions. It is a 7-color, multi-environment camouflage pattern developed by Crye Associates in conjunction with U.S. Army Soldier System Center.

U.S. NAVY SEAL SDV TEAM 1 BY SOLDIER STORY

"Naval Special Warfare Group 3 (NSWG-3), based out of Naval amphibious base Coronado, California is one of six constituent commands of the United States Naval Special Warfare Command. Until 2008, NSWG-3 was composed of two SEAL Delivery Vehicle Teams: SDVT-1 out of Pearl Harbor; and SDVT-2 out of Little Creek, VA. In 2008, SDVT-2 was disestablished and merged into SDVT-1, which is now headquartered in San Diego and operates detachments in Pearl Harbor and Little Creek. SDV Teams are SEAL teams with an added underwater delivery capability. An SDV platoon consists of 12-15 SEALs." [wiki]

His M4 using CQBR came with several attachments such as the ACOG, AN/PEQ2, AN/PEQ5, fore grip with light, reflex sight and suppressor. Excellent detail on this weapon, even the charging handle works.
